Now Hiring: Pediatric SLP — Private Practice Role

Private Pay | North Brooklyn & Queens | Ages 1-5 | High-Quality Caseload | Deeply Supportive Practice

Are you looking for an SLP role that actually feels good?
Where you're respected, supported, and paid fairly — and where families truly value your work?

At Little Hearts Speech Therapy, we’re redefining private practice: fewer sessions, deeper care, and a therapist-first model built for long-term alignment. We're now hiring a pediatric SLP to join our growing, highly regarded team — someone who’s grounded, collaborative, and excited to support little ones across home, school, and in certain cases in-office sessions.

Why This Role Is Different

  • A caseload you'll love. All families are private pay — no IEPs, no insurance, no constant turnover so you’re able to focus on high quality therapy.

  • A strong start. Begin part-time and build toward a consistent caseload.

  • All settings, all support. Sessions take place in homes, daycares, preschools, and in certain cases in-office.

  • Intentional growth. Paid onboarding, regular clinical check-ins, and built-in, paid admin time mean you're supported and never left figuring it out alone.

  • Enriching toddler groups. You’ll also help facilitate play-based toddler groups (with support) — a great way to expand your impact.

  • Flexible Scheduling based on your schedule.

  • Minimal paperwork so you can focus on the therapy.

  • All therapy materials and toys are provided.

Pay

This is a session-based (non-salaried) role with a clear, structured pay model — built to support financial consistency and aligned growth.

You’ll be paid:

  • Earn $100/hour for therapy sessions

  • $25/hour for paid onboarding

  • Sessions are “chunked” together by time and location to maximize your time, income, and to support you as a clinician.

  • Lots of flexibility for time off (non-PTO days) for personal days, sick days, and vacation days..

Built for Long-Term Alignment

We’re growing intentionally — and we care deeply about the people we bring on. While this role is session-based, we stay in regular communication about:

  • Session rates and compensation reviews

  • Growth opportunities within the practice

  • Potential for leadership and supervisor roles based on interest and practice needs

While no promotions or rate increases are guaranteed, we value transparency and aligned growth — and we’re proud of how we care for our team.
